Make your app feel like an extension of your brand by customizing its Theme. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to choose your primary color and font, then customize the text and background settings.
In the Creator Portal, navigate to the Theme section.
First, choose the Primary Color that will represent your brand throughout your app. This color is used for buttons, links, and highlights. So pick something that matches your style. You can select from the color picker, or enter a custom Hex code.
In our example app, we've entered a custom Hex code for the Primary color.
Next, click the Font dropdown menu to select a font that fits your brand. Whether you’re going for bold and modern, or clean and classic, this font will be used across your app’s headings and text.
For our example app, we've selected the font Arimo.
Once you've chosen a font, you can then customize the text colours in your app, starting with the Heading Text, which is large bold text used to introduce a section or page.
After the Heading text, you can click the color picker or enter a Hex code to customize the Body Text. This is the main text for messages, posts, and other information in your app.
The Label Text will customize the color of the small text in naming fields, buttons or options in your app.
Next, choose your Icon Color—this applies to icons used across your app, like navigation and action buttons. Pick a color that complements your theme and stands out clearly against your background.
Once again, for the Icon Color you can select from the color picker, or enter a custom Hex code.
Finally, pick a Background Color that works well with your primary color and text. This will serve as the base layer behind your content for all the pages in your app, so choose something that lets your visuals pop.
Once you've customized your Theme, click Save. You can always come back later to make changes to your app's Theme and branding.
