How to Upload and Sell Exclusive Content

With Exclusives, you can sell or rent digital content directly inside your MySeat platform. Upload audio, videos, images, PDFs, or bundles and choose exactly how fans can access them.

Step 1: Create New Content

Log into your platform, and go to the “More” tab. 

Navigate to Exclusives (under Admin) and click New Content.

You'll be taken to the content creation page where you can upload your files and configure pricing.

Step 2: Upload a Banner Image

Click Upload banner and select a cover image for your exclusive.

Requirements:

• JPG, PNG, or JPEG
• Maximum file size: 10 MB
• Recommended aspect ratio: 16:9

This image will be displayed on your storefront.

Step 3: Add a Title

Enter a title for your content.

Examples:

• Pre-Show Rehearsal Pt. 2
• Behind the Scenes
• Producer Sample Pack Vol. 1
• Tour Photo Collection

Step 4: Add a Description

Write a short description explaining what fans will receive after purchasing or renting the content.

This description appears on both the storefront card and the content detail page.

Step 5: Upload a Preview (Optional)

Add a free preview file that fans can experience before unlocking the full content.

This can be any single file, such as:

• A short audio sample
• A video teaser
• A preview image
• A PDF excerpt

Providing a preview can help increase conversions.

Step 6: Configure Purchase Pricing

If you'd like fans to permanently own the content, enable the Purchase option.

You'll be able to set:

• Regular Price – what non-members pay
• Member Price – discounted pricing for subscribers

Choose from preset pricing options beginning at Free and increasing in fixed increments.

If you don't want the content available for purchase, simply disable the Purchase toggle.

Step 7: Configure Rental Pricing (Optional)

For video content or time-limited access, enable Rent.

You can configure:

• Rent Price – standard rental cost
• Rent Member Price – discounted rental price for members

Rentals are ideal for:

• Concerts
• Livestream replays
• Tutorials
• Exclusive interviews
• Premium video content

If rentals aren't needed, leave this option disabled.

Step 8: Upload Your Content

Click Add Content Files and upload the files fans will unlock.

Supported content includes:

• 🎵 Audio
• 🎬 Video
• 🖼 Images
• 📄 PDFs
• 📦 Multiple files and bundles

Fans will receive access to these files after completing their purchase or rental.

Step 9: Save & Upload

Once everything is complete, click Save & Upload in the top-right corner.

Your exclusive content will immediately appear in your storefront using the pricing options you've selected.

Pro Tips

• Use eye-catching banner artwork to improve click-through rates.
• Upload a preview whenever possible to give fans a taste of what's included.
• Offer discounted member pricing to encourage subscription upgrades.
• Bundle multiple files together to increase perceived value and average purchase size.
• Rent premium videos while selling downloadable content like audio, images, and PDFs for permanent access.

Your fans can now purchase or rent exclusive content directly from your MySeat platform—giving you full control over your content, pricing, and revenue.
