Keep your fans in the loop with instant updates by sending push notifications through your MySeat app.You can link your notification to specific content in your app and choose your target audience, ensuring that your superfans never miss an announcement, release, or exclusive offer.
⚠️ To send push notifications, you'll have to first enable push notifications in the Creator Portal.
In the Creator Portal, navigate to the Your App section.
Scan the QR code or click the link to go to your web app.
Click the PWA logo to launch your web app.
Click Login / Sign Up.
Then click Log in.
Log into your app using the same login credentials as the Creator Portal.
Once you're logged in, click on the More section of your app then scroll to Admin.
Click Push Notifications.
Click the "+" symbol to create a new push notification.
Type your message into the message field (up to 130 characters).
Click on the Action dropdown menu if you would like to direct fans to a specific area of your app, a specific post, or a music track, a merch item, a url, etc.
For our example, we've selected the Music tab as the destination when fans click on the push notification. If no action is selected, fans will be directed to the home page of your app.
Click the Scheduled Delivery toggle if you would like to schedule the push notification to be sent on a specific date and/or at a specific time.
Click the Calendar icon to select the date and time that you would like the push notification to be sent.
Push notifications can be sent to All Users (everyone that downloaded your app), Members Only (only paying members), or to Specific Users.
If you want to send a push notification to Specific Users, click on the Specific Users tab.
In the User Emails field, paste the email addresses for the specific users that you want to send the push notification to.
For our example, we'll send the push notification to members only by clicking on the Members Only tab.
Before sending the push notification, you can send a test push notification by clicking on the Send Test Push button.
Then enter the email addresses of the users who will receive the test push notification and click OK.
When you're ready to send the push notification, click SEND PUSH NOTIFICATION TO ALL MEMBERS.
A warning message will pop up to let you know that you're about to send a push notification. Click Confirm to send the push notification, or click Cancel to go back.
